Oak Lawn is a hidden gem in the worldwide LGBT+ community. The neighborhood is rapidly redeveloping. With the 6th largest LGBT+ community in the USA Oak Lawn will soon become a destination. Currently, there are three city blocks with over 250 apartment units being built on the strip with another 150 being built three blocks from the rainbow intersection.

Cedar Springs is where we go to party. Turtle Creek is where we go to retire for the evening or longer. Uptown is where we go to shop. Oak Lawn is all of those districts combined, however when you hear Oak Lawn, usually it is a reference to the rainbow intersection historically known as the crossroads.
